WHO IS TEC QUALITY

TEC Quality is the organisation set up to develop and run TSA's Quality Standards Framework (QSF) - a set of outcome-based standards developed in partnership with key stakeholders to provide quality standards to the TEC sector.

The pandemic shone a light on the greater use of TEC services and digital solutions by service users, carers and families, and the need for their safe use whilst accessing them. The Quality Standards Framework is a standards programme that supports organisations providing TEC products and services, based on the principles of Quality, Safety, Innovation and Continuous Improvement. It is the only UKAS accredited scheme for technology enabled care in the UK.

If you provide technology enabled care and its service delivery, being certified with the QSF will help you embed quality into your organisation, mitigating risk to your service and product users. Modules within the scheme can help with delivering service transformation, workforce development and serves as a business “healthcheck”. You can use the scheme to strengthen governance and develop a service that is more personalised, proactive and preventative in its offer.

TEC Quality has full autonomy and sector-wide support to administer the QSF standards. TEC Quality has a team of independent auditors trained to ISO 19011 standards.
