Your guide to the QSF audit

Step 1

Discovery Call

Arrange an opening call with the TEC Quality Team to discuss the process and agree the QSF modules that fit your service or organisation.

Step 2

Application

Fill in the application form and we'll send over payment details. As soon as payment is received, the process will begin and you'll start your journey on the Quality Standards Framework.

Step 3

Welcome to the QSF

You'll receive your Welcome Pack with login details to a dedicated resource centre which will guide you through each step of the journey.

Through the Audit Toolkit, you'll have access to guides, templates and resources to help through the process. 

Step 4

Meet your auditor

Your auditor will get in touch with you to book your Stage 1 audit. Using the templates from the Audit Toolkit, you'll start to collate the documents needed for the audit.

This will be up to 6 weeks after your application.

Step 5

Stage 1 audit and preparation

Between 6-12 weeks after your application, you'll have your Stage 1 audit. This will be a one day virtual meeting with the auditor to work through your Gap Analysis and discuss preparations for the Stage 2 audit.

Step 6

Stage 2 audit

Within 6- 8 months, you will have your Stage 2 audit.

We'll spend a couple of days on site with you, go through your evidence and chat with you and your team.

Step 7

After the audit

An initial summary and results will be given on the day of the audit along with any necessary actions points.

If any actions are required, timescales will be discussed before the report is finalised.

Step 8

Your audit report

Your auditor will finalise the report with the findings from the audit. This will then go through a moderation process before the team sends this across to you.

A member of the TQ team will be in touch to arrange a chat with you a few weeks after your report is issued to see how you got on.

Step 9

Certification

Upon successful certification, you'll receive your certificate and QSF badge of Quality.

We'll send over your official QSF Certified Organisation logo and UKAS logo for use across your website.
